ARITA-YAKI

The origin of Arita-Yaki plateware dates back to the early 1600s, as using pottery stones and coloured paint to create delicate porcelain pieces were discovered in Arita, Japan. This one-of-a-kind Arita-ware was traded at the same value as pure gold throughout Europe through the Dutch East India Company in the 1650s, creating a high demand among royalty and aristocracy in European countries. 

Traditional techniques and delicate craftsmanship have been inherited for generations and continue to be admired by chefs worldwide as the perfect vessel to artistically display their fine culinary skills while further engaging with the diner's five senses.

They would use ingredients such as beans and a variety of vegetables to resemble the appearance and flavour of meat in meals and dishes. GYOZA BAR’S PANTRY

Gyoza Bar has been a member of the ABURI family include 2014. At the market, you’ll find Gyoza Bar’s Japanese bentos, such as pork katsu, ebi fry, unagi, karaage, sandos, a selection of daily-rotating onigiri, and a build-your-own ramen corner with deconstructed ingredients featuring house-made noodles, broth, toppings, ramen bowls and chopsticks.

Shoppers can also fill their pantry with a host of house-made condiments, such as Spicy Miso sauce and Akadama Chili Paste, as well as stock their fridge with chef-made curry sauces.
